HONC INDUSTRIES IS U.S. SAFETY “DOING-IT-RIGHT” SAFETY AWARD WINNER

U.S. SAFETY “DOING-IT-RIGHT” SAFETY AWARD WINNER

It is an honor to inform you that Jerry Dalton has been selected to receive this recognition for his efforts towards safety compliance during storm drainage installations operations for Honc Industries, Inc. at the Army Reserve Center.  Jerry’s due diligence extended well above and beyond the typical construction jobsite duties for his company.  At this location, FSA+ JKC Joint Venture One, LLC has an additional obligation to protect any visitors and the general public from the potential hazards associated with this U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project.

Honc Industries was working to connect drainage piping to the control structure near Pond 2.  There are strict rules regarding work adjacent to sensitive wetland areas.  In addition, our project is governed by EPA standards, military standards, as well as other Federal and State laws not normally encountered at typical jobsites.  Jerry connected the piping with great effectiveness and efficiency.  His expertise and safety mined attitude was witnessed by the USACE representative on-site during the installation operations.

Thanks to everyone who participates in helping to ensure “everyone” returns home safely at the end of the day.  CONGRATULATIONS to Jerry for getting caught “doing-it-right.”

With sincerest appreciation,

Kelly Forrest, RSP, COSS
